Update Your LinkedIn Profile

When was the last time you updated your LinkedIn Profile page?

I would spend some time creating and/or updating your own personal profile page – AND remember your company page also! If you are on LinkedIn to be found, updating your profile more often than once every 90 days is imperative. Think of it this way, people use LinkedIn as a search engine, not just a place to manage and interact with their professional network.

Create a profile that speaks to the client and customer you want to have. Unlike other social networks, LinkedIn gives you a lot of space to toot your horn. BUT instead of giving a laundry list of experiences, as you might do on a resume, create a benefits-oriented profile that will attract potential clients, corporate clients if that is your focus.
